You'll be interested to note that I only had to get one shot today. Happily, since I'll be working in school with dodgy high schoolers next years, I got the vaccine for H1N1. I didn't have to get a shot for typhoid, but I did get four pills for it. I take one every other day and wham! I won't get typhoid for five years. Plus, it was $30.00 cheaper ( Read more... )

Color me surprised! Before I watched Deadlocked last night, I was under the impression that I didn't like it very much. My dog is staring at me. It's in the low 90s here today so I haven't been too interested in taking her out. We've gone up and down the block a few times which adds up to a little over a mile but she keeps going to the door and I keep trying to let her out (we stick her leash in the door so that she can't get away) and then she refuses to move. I mean, we have Sometimes A Great Notion, Blood on the Scales, Islanded in a Stream of Stars, and, today's episode, A Disquiet Follows My Soul.
